Around 1500B.C however the volcano erupted burying part of the island and covering the rest with lave. Oia, located at the northest point of Santorini once was the Capital and trade center of the island , nowadays , combines the natural beauty of the Caldera and the amazing sunsets.

Lampetia daughter of the Sun , according mythology gave her name to the resort complex of our Villas, located 250 mtrs above the sea at the edge of Caldera providing majesty of vision from its position. Built during the 19th century , has been restored and converted the last years into a traditional settlement.

Lampetia Villas consist 8 spacious houses some of them split onto two floors and have private balcony. Each one is differently furnished , and combine tradition and modern comforts. Each Villa accommodating 2-4 guests is equipped with kitchenette , refrigerator , bath or shower , telephone and music. Service includes daily cleaning , use of the swimming pool and fax facilities.
